Qur’an Competition Announcement

Falcon Academy is pleased to announce its Annual Qur’an Competition, an event dedicated to honoring the Glorious Book of Allah through memorization and proper recitation. This competition aims to nurture love for the Qur’an, strengthen students’ connection to their faith, and encourage excellence in recitation according to correct Tajweed and Tarteel.

Goals of the Competition

The Qur’an Competition aims to:
Highlight the importance of the Glorious Book of Allah, with a focus on memorization and proper recitation.
Encourage Muslim youth to learn and memorize the Qur’an with care, dedication, and understanding.
Strengthen adherence to the Book of Allah, as it is a source of dignity in this life and happiness in the Hereafter.

Competition Structure

The competition consists of two main branches.
⚠️ Each student may participate in only one branch.

Branch A: Juzu’ Competition
Kindergarten & Grade 1: Juzu’ 30
Grades 2 & 3: Juzu’ 29
Grades 4 & 5: Juzu’ 28
Grades 6 & 7: Juzu’ 27
Additional Notes:
Students may participate in a Juzu’ higher than their assigned grade level, provided they have not previously competed in the same Juzu’.
The maximum number of Ajza’ a student may participate in throughout the competition is ten Ajza’.

Branch B: Surah Competition
Kindergarten: Surat Al-Naba’
Grade 1: Surat Al-Haqqah
Grade 2: Surat Al-Mulk
Grade 3: Surat Al-Dukhan
Grade 4: Surat Qaf
Grade 5: Surat Luqman
Grade 6: Surat Muhammad
Grade 7: Surat Al-Hadid

Competition Conditions

To participate, students must meet the following criteria:
Complete memorization of the assigned Surah or Juzu’.
Correct recitation with proper Harakat, Tajweed, and Tarteel.
Clear and accurate pronunciation of all words.
Fluent recitation without unnecessary pauses.
Full availability to recite on any day during the competition week, February 2–6, 2026.
