High School Academic Policies & Disclosures
Institutional Responsibilities
Falcon Academy’s Early College & Dual Enrollment Program provides academic advising and guidance to support students who wish to pursue college-level coursework while attending high school.
Students currently participate in independent dual enrollment courses offered by Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA).
NOVA is responsible for its own admission decisions, course registration, tuition and fees, academic instruction, grading, and the awarding of college credits.
Falcon Academy provides high school academic advising and reviews the applicability of completed college coursework toward its graduation requirements.
Program Guarantees and Planning
Admissions and Transferability
Participation in the program does not guarantee admission to a particular college or university, acceptance of transfer credits, completion of an associate degree, or early graduation from a future college degree program.
Next Steps for Families
Students and families are encouraged to work closely with Falcon Academy’s school counseling team and NOVA academic advisors to develop an educational plan that reflects the student’s individual needs and long-term academic goals.
