As the Principal of Falcon Academy, you will serve as the strategic and operational leader of the school, driving the vision, culture, and continuous improvement of the institution. As a key member of the student support team, the School Counsellor plays a vital role in nurturing the personal, academic, social, and emotional development of all students. 

The Counsellor supports a safe, inclusive, and supportive school climate by offering guidance services, facilitating proactive programs, and collaborating with staff, families, and external agencies when necessary. Overview

The School Nurse is a key member of the school’s student wellbeing and safety team, responsible for promoting the physical and emotional health of all students and staff. The role involves providing first aid, managing chronic conditions, administering medications, and supporting the implementation of health policies.

The School Nurse plays a proactive role in health education, disease prevention, and fostering a safe, inclusive school environment.

Reporting to the Principal and working collaboratively with the School Counselor, leadership team, and parents, the School Nurse ensures that health care practices within the school meet the highest standards of safety, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Health Services and Medical Care

  • Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff in accordance with school protocols.
  • Assess and manage minor injuries and illnesses, referring to external medical care when necessary.

Working closely with school leadership and all departments, the Security Officer safeguards the physical security of the school campus, enforces safety protocols, monitors daily operations, and responds to emergencies with professionalism and calm. The role is both preventive and responsive, with a strong emphasis on positive interactions and community trust.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Campus Safety and Surveillance

  • Monitor all school entry and exit points during school hours and events.

The Bus Driver at Falcon Academy plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, timely, and courteous transportation of students to and from the school and local facilities, particularly the neighborhood recreation center, in alignment with the school’s PE schedule and extracurricular programs.

The Bus Driver serves as a trusted adult in the students’ daily routine, maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and respect while fostering a calm, welcoming environment on board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate the school bus on daily routes, including scheduled trips to the neighborhood recreation center for PE classes and activities.
  • Transport students to and from school-related events, field trips, and other scheduled destinations as needed.
  • Follow assigned schedules and adjust to changes in route or timing as required by the school administration.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in safe operating condition.
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle; report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
