An Evening of Academic Planning, College Readiness, and Family Partnership
An Evening of Academic Planning, College Readiness, and Family Partnership
Last night, Falcon Academy welcomed parents and students for an engaging and informative evening focused on preparing for a successful academic year and beyond.
Our CRLMP Coordinator, Yıldız Teber, led the first session on Dual Enrollment and the Academic Planning Process. Families received a comprehensive overview of Dual Enrollment opportunities, graduation requirements, academic pathways, course selection, and elective options. The session also marked the official launch of the 2026–2027 enrollment and course registration process. Over the coming weeks, each family will meet individually with the counseling office to finalize course selections, complete enrollment, and develop a personalized academic plan that supports each student’s college and career goals.
The second session focused on Falcon Academy’s Career Readiness and Leadership Mentoring Program (CRLMP). Families were introduced to our vision for internships, leadership development, extracurricular engagement, and college and career readiness. Working in close cooperation with parents, we also began discussing each student’s internship interests and identifying the career fields they would like to pursue during the upcoming academic year. These conversations mark the beginning of our internship placement process, helping us match students with meaningful mentorship and real-world learning opportunities that align with their goals, interests, and future aspirations. Parents also explored ways they can support the program through mentorship, professional expertise, workplace partnerships, and internship opportunities.
Thank you to all of the parents and students who joined us for this wonderful evening. Strong partnerships between school and families are essential to student success, and we look forward to working together throughout the year as we prepare our students for college, leadership, and lifelong achievement.
Together, we are building a community where every student’s academic journey and career pathway are intentionally planned, supported, and inspired.
