- * From Monday through Thursday, students engage in daily language learning, rotating between Arabic and Spanish so that each language is experienced twice weekly.
- ** Families may opt into Islamic Discovery, a twice-weekly program where children explore Islamic arts and crafts, meaningful stories from history, and Quran memorization in a fun and engaging way.
- *** Every week, each age group has a designated day for water play during the Sports/Movement block (Mon–Wed), with Thursday as a makeup day if needed.
- **** The daily schedule will be flexible to accommodate field trip days.
Do you have field trips at summer camp? 🚌
Yes! Exciting field trips take place on our “Fantastic Fridays.” These can be either external adventures (like the Udvar-Hazy Center or local splash pads) or special in-house enrichment opportunities based on that week’s theme.
Do I need to pack a lunch or snacks for summer camp? 🍎
No packing required! We provide an assortment of healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for children every day, fully included in your weekly tuition.
Do you take the children outdoors? 🌳
Yes, we believe that outdoor time is crucial for a well-balanced, active summer program. Our schedule includes designated daily time for outdoor sports, nature exploration, and movement.
What if my child becomes ill? 🤒
Safety and health are our top priorities. If a child becomes ill, a parent or authorized guardian will be contacted immediately, and the child will be safely and comfortably isolated under supervision while awaiting pickup.
What if my child has food allergies? 🥜
We take allergies very seriously. We have a strict process that monitors and tracks food allergies, and we will make safe, appropriate meal substitutions for your child when allergies exist.
What are your staff qualifications and training? 🎓
Staff members are carefully selected for their experience working with children and their ability to create a safe, engaging environment. Staff members are trained in supervision, safety procedures, and age-appropriate instruction. All staff undergo background checks in accordance with requirements set by the Virginia Department of Education. Team members also complete pre-camp training in emergency preparedness, behavior management, and program delivery.
How do pricing and discounts work? 💳
Our official pricing is $400/week, but you can secure a $350/week rate if you register before May 15th! We also offer multi-week and sibling discounts.
Do you provide transportation? 🚐
Yes! We offer a reliable transportation service for an additional fee, and transportation for Friday field trips is included.
What exactly will my child learn in the STEM modules? 🔬
Campers will explore math puzzles, science experiments, coding, and engineering challenges in a fun, interactive way.
What is the focus of the Islamic Discovery block? 🕌
Students learn about Islam through storytelling, art, and activities that build strong character values.
What kinds of Creative Arts do you offer? 🎨
Activities include painting, crafts, storytelling, creative writing, and simple media projects.
Will there be water play? 💧
Yes! Each group has a weekly water play day, with a backup day if needed.
Is security provided on campus during the camp? 🛡️
Yes, we provide on-site security and daily cleaning to maintain a safe environment.
How does the Multi-Week Discount work? 🗓️
Our Multi-Week Discount automatically applies when you enroll your child for 5 or more weeks of camp. You will receive $50 off per week for Full Day enrollments, and $25 off per week for Half Day enrollments.

Children learn Spanish and Arabic through immersive activities such as storytelling, games, cooking, science experiments, and collaborative projects. We maintain small group sizes with a camper-to-staff ratio ranging from 9:1 to 12:1, tailored to the specific needs of each age group.
Can my child attend for only certain weeks? ✔️
Yes! Families can register for whichever week or weeks that best fit their schedule.
Will my child get confused learning two languages at once? 🧠
Not at all! Children’s brains are naturally wired to absorb multiple languages simultaneously. Research even shows that learning two languages at the same time can boost problem-solving skills and cognitive flexibility. Our pedagogic design is constructed to minimize confusion and boost the joy of learning.
What if my child has no prior experience with the languages? 🆕
Not a problem if your child has no prior experience! Our program welcomes children at any Spanish or Arabic level, from complete beginners to those with some background in the language. Instructors assess each child’s language ability and adjust activities, vocabulary, and challenges accordingly. This ensures every camper receives instruction suited to their level and can fully participate. Through play, storytelling, and interactive activities, language learning happens naturally with the guided support they need to thrive.
How are Arabic and Spanish taught in the camp? 🌍
Arabic and Spanish are taught using an exclusive, play-based curriculum which combines social and emotional skill development with language immersion. For instance, when learning about food, campers can learn about food etiquette, manners, and effective problem solving and communication (for instance, role playing situations when the food requested may be delayed or incorrect).
How are campers grouped during the program? 👦👧
To create the best learning environment, campers are typically grouped by age so instructors can tailor activities, language instruction, and challenges to each group’s developmental level while exploring the same weekly themes. In some cases, mixed-age groups may be combined depending on enrollment, with activities thoughtfully adapted to ensure all campers are engaged and appropriately challenged.
Is my refund based on the camp’s start date or my specific week? 📅
Refunds are calculated based on the start date of your specific canceled week, not the overall summer season.
How are refunds calculated if I cancel multiple weeks? 🧮
Refunds are calculated individually per week based on your notice period. For example, canceling 2 weeks before Week 1 yields a 50% refund, while canceling 4+ weeks before Week 6 yields a 100% refund.
What happens to my Multi-Week Discount if I cancel a week? 💵
If your total enrollment drops below 5 weeks, you no longer qualify for the discount. Your refund will be adjusted to reflect the standard weekly rate for your remaining weeks.
Can I switch my child’s camp week? 🔄
Yes! With at least 14 days’ notice, we can transfer your enrollment to another week for free, subject to availability.
Can I switch weeks with less than 14 days’ notice? ⏳
These requests are not guaranteed. They are handled case-by-case based strictly on program availability.
Do I get a refund if my child misses days due to illness? 🚫
No. To maintain staffing and program quality, we cannot issue refunds or credits for missed days, early withdrawals, or absences once a week has officially begun.
What happens if Falcon Academy cancels a camp week? ⚠️
If a week is canceled due to minimum enrollment, you will be notified immediately. You can choose to transfer to another available week or receive a full 100% refund.
